With the cost of 9mm these days, I would buy a P365 chambered in 22LR for some cost effective, realistic training. The gun would need to weigh the same as a 9mm P365 and have the same trigger pull. However the longer frame on the P365 will make for a better shooter. Even with the 12-round extended mag in a std P365 I find I can handle and shoot the P365X better. The most affordable quality red dot you can get for the P365 is the Swampfox Sentinel and the best you can get is the Holosun 507k. You can even get the slide milled for a Trijicon RMRcc and spend $500 on one of those. It's technically the most durable/reputable red dot but I think it's unnecessary for a carry gun.. Big butt ts
