If I can get as many Stanley Cups as possible, I am willing to trade every last pick and prospect over the next four years to make that happen. Whether that be core type players or players to complement on really good contracts. NHL GMs would never do that, though. Then you trade G for a LHD Manson-type to be tougher to play against. There is merit to do those trades as you would get younger and possibly save cap at the same time. That is a lot of changes in a position that is a strength though but worth looking into because a G-Walker pairing makes our top-4 a bit too small for my liking..
